Hashem will surely take notice of you and bring you up from this land to the land that He promised on oath to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaakov.” Genesis 50:24 (The Israel Bible™) Joseph’s Tomb, early 1900’s. (Photo: Wikimedia Commons) An estimated 6,000 Jews made an overnight visit to Joseph’s Tomb on Thursday, the anniversary of the Biblical character’s death. The gathering was carried out under heavy guard by the IDF since the site is located on the outskirts of the Arab dominated city of Shechem. Dozens of Arabs rioted as the convoy of buses and military vehicles entered the city. The area is in Samaria, a region conquered by Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War and thought the city came under Palestinian Authority

The researchers involved in the project hope it will be a scientific Noah’s Ark, enabling scientists to study species after they have gone extinct. Some scientists are less impressed by the project. Dr. Nathan Aviezer, a physics professor at Bar Ilan University who is a learned and devout Jew, emphasized that as the science of genetics

This upcoming super blue blood moon will be the third and final one in a series that began on December 2. Rabbi Berger, the Rabbi of King David’s Tomb on Mount Zion, noted that the confluence of Tu B’Shvat and a lunar eclipse was explicitly described in the Yalkut Moshe, a book of kabbalistic insights written in 1894

To be a pastor one needs to study at a religious institution, learn the scriptures thoroughly, follow the theological training and complete seminary courses. After studying, he is then ordained as a
