Zionfelix.net reported that Ibrahim Mahama, brother of president Mahama was to be honured at the recently held MUSIGA Grand Ball at Banquet Hall, State House but that did not happen on November 4 when the event happened.

The CEO of Engineers and Planners was to join Edward Boateng, CEO of Global Media Alliance; Betty Mould-Iddrissu former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, and Kasapreko Company Ltd. to take the honurary award at the fourth edition of the event due to his contribution for the music industry.

MUSIGA president, Obour on the night of the award announced that the association will present the award to three personalities contrary to his words before the event that four people would be rewarded. He excluded Ibrahim Mahama when mentioning the personalities MUSIGA will reward at the event. On the night when he made the declaration, he did not tell patrons at the event why Ibrahim Mahama was excluded from the list of people to be awarded on the night.

Obour has finally explained why the business mogul was not mentioned among the persons who were recognized at MUSIGA Grand Ball 2016. The musician real name Bice Osei Kufour told KMJ during a radio interview that the man was absent so they thought it wise to hold on with his citation.

He disclosed that Ibrahim Mahama informed the association on Friday, November 4 morning that he will be absent so the association agreed on not giving his award to any other individual.

Obour added that the award will be presented to him in no time.
