A woman could be beautiful, funny, a pleasure to be around, and even be active in their church but still not be good marriage material. She could also be wonderful in the context of dating and still be sorely lacking when it comes to the “game time” issues of marriage. Over the years I have seen the following major character weaknesses in women become significant hurdles for marital intimacy and satisfaction and even taken down some marriages. Each one of these is significant enough that if the woman you are dating displays several or even one or two to a deep degree, she may not be emotionally or spiritually ready for marriage – regardless of how much fun it is to date her. If she is not humble Humility is sadly under-rated. The Christian classics call it “queen of the

The International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) has affirmed its loyalty to its head pastor, Dr. Mensa Otabil, amid controversy over the role he may have played in malfeasances that led to the collapse of Capital Bank. Dr. Otabil, the former Board Chairman of the now-defunct bank, appeared to be aware of the misuse of liquidity support from the Bank of Ghana, according to an investigative report sighted by citinewsroom.com. The liquidity support amounted to GHc 610 million. However, ICGC’s leadership and membership stressed what they described as Dr. Otabil’s integrity and transparency over 30 years of service in a statement of support. “Throughout this period, you have demonstrated integrity at its highest level before us. Many of us have built our Christian character around the values

In its discussion of eclipses, the Talmud (Sukkot 29a) specifically described solar eclipses as being a bad omen for the nations. Indeed, the complete solar eclipse that transversed the continental United States last summer ushered in the most devastating hurricane season in US history. The same source in the Talmud specifies

President Nana Akufo-Addo has lambasted the police officer who assaulted a woman at Shiashie branch of Midland Savings and Loans in Accra. President Akufo-Addo said he supports fully any sanction the Police administration will take against the embattled police officer to serve as a deterrent to other recalcitrant officers who assault citizens instead of protecting. “Yesterday we had some very bad news in Accra – police beating up a woman who had gone to get money at the Midland Loans and Savings Company. I want to say here: policemen are meant to protect citizens and not to assault citizens.” “The measures that the IGP has taken to sanction the erring policeman and to make sure these don’t happen again, have my complete support. (PHOTO: REUTERS/STRINGER)Christians attend Sunday service in the Virgin Mary Church at Samalout Diocese in Al-Our village, in Minya governorate, south of Cairo, May 3, 2015. Copts have long complained of discrimination under successive Egyptian leaders and Sisi’s actions suggested he would deliver on promises of being an inclusive president who could unite the country after years of political turmoil. However, striking out at extremists abroad might prove easier than reining in radicals at home. Orthodox Copts, the Middle East’s biggest Christian community, are a test of Sisi’s commitment to tolerance, a theme he often stresses in calling for an ideological assault on Islamist militants threatening Egypt’s security. A Coptic journalist has detailed her frustration

Daddy Lumba made an entry into the music industry in the early 1980s with ‘Yereye Aka Akwantuo Mu’ which he did with Nana Acheampong (they were then known as Lumba Brothers). Since then, he has consistently released a lot of monster hit songs, thereby making him one of the most sought-after highlife musicians in Ghana. Some musicians who sing like the ‘Aben Waha’ hit maker
