Ultra-modern studio, Irie Ites Studio at Nima in Accra has launched first Ghanaian reggae and dancehall compilations.
The Irie Jamz Compilation volume one launched on Wednesday, November 9 at Dansoman in Accra is a 3-riddim album which has 30 Ghanaian musicians and 28 songs for three different albums.
The three riddims are “Irie Bus Riddim”, “Pretty Bus Riddim” and “Nima Clock Riddim”. One of the three riddims outdoored on Wednesday evening was the “Iris Bus Riddim”. The other two riddims, “Pretty Bus Riddim” and “Nima Clock Riddim” will be released soon.
A copy of the “Irie Bus Riddim” album costs Gh 10, Zionfelix.net is informed.
Talented Reggae and dancehall musicians on the compilations are Ras Kuuku, Iwan, Osagyefo, Eye Judah, Scata Bada, Bongo-I, Kwame Partan, Fiifi Selah, Konkrah, Da Governor, Owurasax and many others.

A well-directed video has been shot for “Iris Bud Riddim”.
The music video so far has received scores of commendations by industry players. The music video was shot and directed by SlingShot with different locations in the Volta Region and some suburbs of Accra.
What you must know about Irie Bus Riddim
This comes as CD1 of the compilation. The Irie Bus Riddim is Strictly one drop (Reggae) cut. The riddim name was coined from the studio’s lead titles “Irie” (Ites) a “Bus” added to it, simply to mean a “Happy Bus”- the name was picked so as it accentuate the name of the studio more thus the title. It has 11 artistes listed for it namely Ras Kuuku, Iwan, Osagyefo, Eye Judah, Scata Bada, Bongo-I, Kwame Partan, Fiifi Selah, Konkrah, Da Governor and Owurasax. 10 solid songs came on this album with the eleventh one being a jazz version of the riddim, done by Owurasax, this makes it the first time riddim album produced in Ghana came with a jazz version.
